David Beckham will return to Manchester United for a charity game to commemorate the 50th anniversaries of the club′s European Cup debut and the signing of the Treaty of Rome.
The Real Madrid star has been cleared to play for a Europe XI against United in the fixture scheduled for March 13 next year, and will be part of a squad coached by Italy′s World Cup-winning boss Marcello Lippi.
Lippi said at a press conference after Saturday′s Manchester derby: "I accepted the invitation immediately. I′m delighted by the prospect of such a game and I am already looking forward to taking on my great friend Sir Alex Ferguson."
曼联将在明年3月13号为自己进入欧洲足坛50年举行一场慈善比赛, 对阵双方为曼联 VS 欧洲明星, 贝克汉姆将入选欧洲明星队在OT对阵曼联! 欧洲明星的主教练为世界杯冠军教练里皮, 明星队阵容也将由他挑选.
里皮自己也在昨天曼城德比新闻发布会上证实了此消息. "我立刻接受了这个邀请, 这参加这样一场比赛我非常高兴, 我期待着与我的好朋友弗格森之间的对决!" 期待!!!
